Thermal insulation cladding
What thermal insulation cladding is and how it reduces a building's heat loss, improving comfort and energy use.
What does Thermal insulation cladding mean?
Thermal insulation cladding is a system applied to a building's exterior walls to reduce heat loss. Insulating panels (polystyrene, rock wool or other materials) are fixed to the facade and covered with a reinforced render, improving indoor comfort and lowering energy use.
Beyond lower energy bills, it reduces thermal bridges and improves comfort in both summer and winter. In Italy it can qualify for tax incentives for energy-efficiency works when it meets the required technical standards.
