Waterproofing
What waterproofing is: the treatment that makes bathrooms, terraces and roofs watertight, preventing leaks and mould.
What does Waterproofing mean?
Waterproofing is the treatment that makes a surface (bathroom, terrace, basement or roof) watertight. In bathrooms it is done with membranes and resin-based products applied to floors and walls before tiling.
Proper waterproofing prevents leaks, mould and damage to services and the structure below. It matters most in showers, around bathtubs and sanitary ware, and on surfaces exposed to the weather.
